The warmer weather is finally coming... (shh, I don't want to say it to loud). We are looking forward to the volunteer day this weekend and getting the outside of our school cleaned up and the playground looking good. Thank you in advance to those who can make it and for those who can't, no worries. 

A few house keeping notes; please update your child's change of clothes, check the lost and found, clean their water bottles or get new ones and change their slippers to be functional for school. (Many of them fall off or have holes in them)

Parent/teacher conferences are coming soon and Ms Katie and I would like to take the time to share with you our observations. Please sign up on the sheet next to the tuition box. If you have a time that will work for you and you can not be here to sign up, please call or email me and I will put your name in if there is a space.

The month of May will bring the life cycles of frogs, flowers and butterflies. We will be planting outdoors in our raised bed. We will study a river habitat during the month. The class is going to revisit what it means to "Fill your Bucket". We will be focusing on positive affirmation and the effect it feels when kiddos are nice to one another. They will visually see a bucket already full and how it feels if the bucket empties. In the end we will have a day of celebration of what the kiddos choose. (within reason ;~)

Up Coming Events

A LOT of BIRTHDAYS!!!!

May 11 Mother's Day Celebration- The kiddos will serve mom's/aunts or grandmas coffee and coffee cake to go before their morning commute. Plan on staying a little extra (1 hour) for them to show their favorite works. 

May 14-17 Parent/Teacher Conferences- Ms Katie and I will be available to meet with you for a half hour to talk about your child's academic, social and emotional progress or the beginning sand settling into the classroom.

May 28- No School School will be closed in remembrance to all those who have served in our military and who have passed away.
